Brief description and main aims

“Guardería Infantil Caritas” is a nursery and school for children whose parents work all day and don’t have enough economic resources to pay for a private school or nursery. The age of the children can be between 5 months and 6 years old.

Main Activities

This project takes care of children for 6 hours every day. During this period of time, the children receive food and basic education, play games, among others.

Volunteer tasks

• Take care of the babies (feed them, change their diapers, etc.)
• Assist teachers
• Play with the children, help them with their homework, feed them and look after them

Volunteer requirements / Skills

• Volunteers need to have interest in working with small children and babies
• Volunteers are also required to be patient

Location

The project is a private association located in the center of the city of Puebla.

Hosting Situation (Board and Lodging)

The volunteer will live with a host family in Puebla.
